Carpenter Bee Carpenter bees resemble Bumblebees but have no fur on their abdomen but rather a shiny abdomen. They bore into wood to lay their eggs and appear annually in the same structure if not eliminated. They can weaken structural wood in repeated or heavy infestations. They bore distinctive 5/8 inch holes in unpainted wood. The seldom sting but do damage to wood. We treat the infestation to eliminate the existing bees and to prevent emergence in following years from the eggs. Bee and Wasp Experts! |
